[I guess we are running into each other somehow, for some reason. Maybe there is some disruption that has gotten the attention of both the police and the church. Hopefully, it doesn't involve Shino]

[oni_san]

[Let's really hope it doesn't involve Shino but it's probably some kind of supernatural occurrence if the church is involved. Let's say murders, everyone loves murders.]

[Genpachi steps away from the crime scene, the victim having spontaneously combusted in front of a number of witnesses. The third incident this week.]

Yes. The same as before. It's almost certainly a spirit at work. It's hard to say yet if there's a connection among the victims.

[considers that quietly for a moment]

Do we know anything about today's victim?

[oni_san]

I have some people investigating but witnesses report he was staying at one of the local inns. He was from out of town as well.

If they were all travelers that could be something of a connection. Albeit a tenuous one.
